I just keep my torrents on and rotate them when seeding till I am satisfied or needed more disk space. (highest going @ 1400%) Doing this will also help to keep the torrent alive, and hopefully increase the speed of the people downloading.
I haven't used utorrent in a long time, but probably not. Some torrent clients support super-seeding/initial seeding, which ideally tries to send out each piece exactly once so that the contents are more quickly distributed to the swarm, but that has to be set from the seeder's side.
